Information note on Corten
To guarantee a warm and striking aesthetic from day one, the Corten walls of this log burner have been artisanally pre-treated with an accelerated natural oxidation process.
- The color will change: The initial orange/red tone will naturally turn towards a darker, burnished brown over the next 12-18 months, completing its protective maturation upon contact with air and rain.
- Attention to surfaces: During the first months of outdoor exposure, rain cycles will cause the natural leaching of the surface patina (release of rust dust). It is recommended not to place the product directly on delicate, porous, or light-colored flooring (marble, stone, terracotta) until it has completely stabilized.
